➑️ Moalboal (Cebu) to Siquijor

Fastest Route

🚌 Bus to Bato Port | 1.5 hours

πŸ›₯️ Ferry to Tampi | 30 minutes

🚌 Bus to Dumaguete City Port | 40 minutes

πŸ›₯️ Ferry to Siquijor | 40 minutes | (book online)

Notes:

  • This route sounds complicated, but countless buses and ferries ply this route, so it’s very easy.
  • If you’re okay with riding tricycles, you can also take a tricycle from Bato Port to Liloan Port. The boats from Liloan Port dock in Sibulan Port, which is closer to Dumaguete than Tampi. From Sibulan, you can also take a tricycle or bus to Dumaguete Port.
  • In theory, you can do this route in less than 3 hours. However, there’s bound to be some waiting time in the ports.
  • Ferries from Bato to Tampi and Liloan to Sibulan alternate in schedule. There’s a boat leaving roughly every 45 minutes (if not in Bato, it’s in Liloan). There’s no need to book ahead.
  • There are lots of ferries (both slow and fast) from Dumaguete to Siquijor per day. You can check schedules and book tickets at the port, or online here.

  • You can ride a bus from Tagbilaran City to Jagna in the Dao Terminal.
  • The ferry is run by Super Shuttle, and it leaves every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However, it’s a good idea to check here for the latest schedule, and check Super Shuttle’s Facebook page for notices.

πŸ›₯️ Ferry to Cebu | 2 hours | (book online)

πŸš• Taxi to Cebu Airport | 30 – 45 minutes

    1. Hey!

Yes, it’s possible, but VERY hassle, I don’t recommend it.

If you really want to, here’s how:

      1. Bus to Cebu City (2 hours)
      2. Ferry to Ilo-ilo (12-14 hours)
      3. Bus/van to Caticlan (5-6 hours)
      4. Ferry to Boracay! (15 minutes)

It’s much better to fly from Cebu City to Caticlan instead πŸ™‚

      Cheers!
