Notes:

  • Coron airport is outside Coron town, and it’s quite isolated. There are plenty of vans waiting at the airport to shuttle you to town. If you want to be convenient, you can also book a van to take you directly to your hotel here.

Notes:

  • This is the only reasonable direct route from Coron to Boracay. All other routes include a stopover in El Nido.
  • You can ask your accommodation in Coron to book transport to the airport for you, or you can book yourself online here.
  • If you don’t want to commute from Caticlan Airport to your hotel in Boracay, you can book a van transfer here.
  • There are countless tricycles waiting outside the Caticlan airport ready to take you to the port. There are countless ferries at the port ready to take you to Boracay Island. And there are countless tricycles waiting at the Boracay port to take you to your hotel. This is a very easy route to commute.
  • There is a Hop-on Hop-off bus that can take you anywhere on Boracay island. Get a card here.

By Boat

🛥️ Ferry to San Jose, Mindoro | 5 – 6 hours | (book online)

🚐 Van or bus to Bulalacao or Roxas, Mindoro | 1.5 hours (Bulalacao) 2.5 hours (Roxas)

🛥️ Ferry from Bulalacao or Roxas to Caticlan Port | 3 hours (B), 4 – 5 hours (R) | (book online)

🛥️ Ferry to Boracay | 15 minutes

🛺 Tricycle or HoHo bus to hotel | 10 – 15 minutes

Notes:

  • This route is slower, but many travelers don’t want to fly back to Manila to get to Boracay.
  • The ferry from Coron to San Jose is run by Bunso Transport. They currently leave every Monday and Friday at 8 am. However, this is subject to change, so it’s best to check their Facebook Page for updates. You can also see the schedules and book online here.
  • There are several ferries running the Roxas to Caticlan route every day. You can check schedules and book online here. Bulalacao to Caticlan leaves twice a day at 10 am and 2 pm. Tickets can only be booked on the spot.

  • This is the fastest way to get from Boracay to Siargao.
  • General Luna (the main tourist town in Siargao) is about 45 minutes away from Sayak Airport. You can get on a shared van on the spot, or book ahead here.

  • There are two companies plying the Cebu City to Surigao City route, Starlite Ferries and Cokaliong Shipping. Starlite Ferries departs from Pier 3, while Cokaliong leaves from Pier 1.
  • Both companies leave every day except Saturday. Cokaliong at 7 pm and Starlite at 9 pm. Schedules are subject to change, but you can see updated schedules and book online here.
  • There are multiple ferries plying the Surigao to Dapa route. Most tourists ride the Evaristo and Sons fast craft, which leaves 3x a day. Check the schedules and book a ticket online here.
