Travel Routes – Bohol, Camiguin, Boracay

The best travel route for Bohol, Camiguin, and Boracay is to go:

  1. Bohol
  2. Camiguin
  3. Boracay

Here’s how!

πŸ›¬ Getting to Bohol

From Manila

✈️ Fly directly into Panglao Airport | 1 hour | (Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, Air Asia)

via Cebu City

✈️ Fly into Cebu City

πŸš• Taxi to Pier 1 | 30 – 45 minutes

πŸ›₯️ Ferry to Tagbilaran Pier | 2 hours | (book online)

Notes:

  • Countless ferries ply the Cebu City to Bohol route. OceanJet is the most popular for tourists since it’s fast and docks in Tagbilaran (which is the closest to the tourist zone).
  • You can book ferry tickets to Tagbilaran on the spot, but you can also book online.

➑️ Bohol to Camiguin

Best Route

🚌 Bus from Tagbilaran to Jagna | 1.5 – 2 hours

πŸ›₯️ Ferry from Jagna to Balbagon Port, Camiguin | 4 hours | (book online)

Notes:

  • The ferry from Bohol to Camiguin leaves from Jagna Port, which is 1.5 hours away from Tagbilaran, and roughly 2 hours away from Panglao.
  • You can ride a bus from Tagbilaran City to Jagna in the Dao Terminal.
  • The ferry is run by Super Shuttle, and it leaves every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However, it’s a good idea to check here for the latest schedule, and check Super Shuttle’s Facebook page for notices.

via Cebu City

πŸ›₯️ Ferry to Cebu | 2 hours | (book online)

πŸš• Taxi to Cebu Airport | 30 – 45 minutes

✈️ Flight to Camiguin | 1 hour | (Cebu Pacific)

Notes:

  • This route is more expensive and not necessarily faster than by heading to Jagna. However, it is more convenient.
  • There are a lot of boats from Bohol to Cebu. My personal recommendation for tourists is OceanJet. It’s the fastest boat from Tagbilaran, which is closest to the tourist zone in Panglao.
