Travel Routes – Bohol, Moalboal, Siargao

The best travel route for Bohol, Moalboal, and Siargao is to go:

  1. Bohol
  2. Moalboal
  3. Siargao

Here’s how!

πŸ›¬ Getting to Bohol

From Manila

✈️ Fly directly into Panglao Airport | 1 hour | (Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, Air Asia)

via Cebu City

✈️ Fly into Cebu City

➑️ Bohol to Moalboal, (Cebu)

Fastest Route

πŸ›₯️ Ferry from Momo Beach, Panglao to Quartel Beach, Oslob | 1.5 hours | (book online)

🚌 Southbound bus to Bato Port | 40 minutes |

🚌 Bus bound for Cebu City (stop in Moalboal) | 1.5 hours

Notes:

  • The only ferry from Bohol to Oslob is run by Apekop Travel, which leaves once a day. You can book online here.
  • The boat has limited seats, so I highly recommend booking ahead.
  • When you arrive in Quartel Beach, it’s a short 400m walk to the highway, where you can hail a southbound bus bound for Bato.
  • When you arrive in Bato Port, wait on the highway for a northbound bus going to Cebu. Tell the conductor to drop you in Moalboal.
  • This route sounds complicated. But over 50 buses ply these routes daily, so it’s a lot easier than it might seem.

Alternative Route

πŸ›₯️ Ferry from Tagbilaran City to Cebu City | 2 hours | (book online)

πŸš• Taxi to South Bus Terminal | 15 minutes

🚌 Bus to Moalboal | 2 – 3 hours

Notes:

  • Countless ferries ply the Tagbilaran – Cebu City route. The most popular for tourists is OceanJet.
  • This route is longer, but you can do it at almost any time of the day, so it’s more convenient.
  • You can book ferry tickets to Cebu City on the spot (cheaper), but it’s more convenient to book online.
